The Lake is low due to the current drought conditions and low snow pack from the winter 2019-2020. The FWDC is beginning work on dam repair from the slip that occurred in the spring of 2019. Expect heavy machinery to be in the vicinity of the dam area and that the engineers have requested that people not access the Lake from the south beach next to the dam.
